The APS 7.5 IVR Combidry X is a 5.5 kW direct driven screw compressor with variable speed and a yield of 170 to 760 liters per minute. This makes this machine unique and very versatile, especially for small air users who often still use a piston compressor. A permanent magnet synchronous motor makes the machine even more economical, especially in the low revs, so that the efficiency is significantly higher than with an asynchronous motor. Due to the compact design, this machine takes up little space, but it does have a 200-liter compressed air boiler and a cooling dryer. The direct drive ensures a 1 on 1 transfer from the electric motor to the screw block, so that no losses occur. All parameters can be read and adjusted in the menu of the very comprehensive but well-arranged controller which is equipped with a full color touchscreen. This allows the machine to be adjusted per situation for maximum efficiency. The service interval of 3,000 hours also ensures lower maintenance costs. This machine is very suitable for small companies that have variable air take-off but where a silent compressor with dry compressed air is required.
