Adsorption dryers | Airpress
The adsorption air dryer is designed for continuous and efficient operation at higher air flow rates and pressures. Its operation involves passing the air through a tank containing an absorbent (usually in the form of a nanofilter or granulated aluminum gel), which extracts the moisture. The absorbing substance is then regenerated by passing the dried air through a separate tank that collects the moisture and expels it outside.
An essential role is played by the control system, which divides the air flow between the two tanks while ensuring a constant level of output air parameters. During the regeneration process, about 15% of the supplied air is lost. These devices operate with a dew point temperature ranging from -20°C to -70°C. The adsorption air dryers from the ADS series allow for achieving first-class moisture levels in compressed air. The standard equipment includes specialized filters.
