APS BASIC Series – Versatile Pressure and Configuration Options
Three Pressure Variants
The Airpress APS BASIC series screw compressors are available in three pressure options: 8 bar, 10 bar, and 13 bar. This allows users to precisely match their compressor to the air supply needs of different applications, from low-pressure tool operation to high-pressure tasks such as tire inflation for heavy trucks and construction machinery.
Three Configuration Options
To accommodate various installation setups and air consumption requirements, APS BASIC compressors come in three configurations:
a) Standalone Screw Compressors – APS BASIC
The standalone version is the ideal solution for businesses with an existing air system, buffer tank, or compressor. It allows for seamless integration into your current infrastructure and efficiently enhances air supply capacity. With a footprint of less than 1m², it can be easily installed in small spaces, mezzanines, or narrow areas, offering full flexibility in tank positioning.
b) Tank-Mounted Screw Compressors – APS BASIC COMBI
Compressors mounted on a 270L or 500L air tank are ready-to-use systems, recommended for users seeking a plug-and-play solution. The Combi version mirrors piston compressor configurations and is an ideal choice for applications where high air quality is not a priority, such as air-blowing or inflating tasks.
c) Tank-Mounted Compressors with Integrated Refrigerated Dryer – APS BASIC COMBI DRY
The COMBI DRY version is the most advanced configuration, offering a complete air system with a buffer tank and refrigerated dryer. It ensures a steady supply of high-quality compressed air, with a dew point of 3°C in compliance with ISO 8373-1. This makes it ideal for applications such as pneumatic tool operation, spray painting, and actuator-powered processes. Optional particulate and oil mist filters are also available. COMBI DRY models are the most popular among screw compressors up to 15 kW.
ES4000 Basic Controller
The ES4000 Basic controller is user-friendly and features an intuitive digital icon-based display. This microprocessor control system allows for precise monitoring of operating parameters, usage hours, and adjustable pressure settings. It also provides notifications for scheduled maintenance and alerts in case of system irregularities.
High-Efficiency Compression Module
The oil-injected screw compression module delivers exceptional efficiency. By regulating oil temperature, these compressors operate continuously without compromising lifespan. Their energy efficiency far exceeds that of traditional piston compressors, providing a cost-effective solution.
Energy-Efficient Electric Motors
The APS BASIC series is equipped with high-efficiency IE3 motors, boasting an energy efficiency rating above 90%. This ensures significant energy savings during operation.
Compact and Soundproof Design
The sealed compressor housing optimizes cooling airflow, ensuring consistent operational performance. Noise-dampening panels and filter mats reduce sound levels to 66-69 dB(A), depending on power output, allowing for installation near workstations without causing disruptions.
